Hi guys,

Need big favor. I have one job offer in Muscat/Oman. I live in USA. I would like to know or have some questions kinda nervous to accept that offer..

1) I have Three kids (2 kids are 3.5 years old and 1 6 Months old). Is there any American schools there for kids (Kinder Garden)?

The big concern is my kids, me and wife can handle everything just worrying about kids. Please any advise would be great appreciate...

I would like to add one more thing...

If company offer Villa/Utility/car then 4000 OR is enough for one month (Food + Kids school)

Thanks again.

Suffice to say Muscat is one of the most well developed cities not just in the GCC, but across the entire Middle East North Africa region.

Muscat is also a very forward-thinking, open-minded city, where Omani women (besides expat women) can hold official posts, even as Ministers, can drive cars, work in offices along with male colleagues, wear what they want, and more. Muscat is so far removed in its mindset, ethos and culture from some other very conservative Arab countries like for example Saudi Arabia where there are numerous dos and don’ts. More don’ts than dos !

If only you will check with Mr. Google, he can dispel all your apprehensions.

About your specific query there is 'The American International School of Muscat (TAISM)'. Look here for details : http://www.taism.com/. There are numerous high quality Kindergarten schools for preschoolers too. Plus, a host of other International schools.
