Hello there,

Firstly welcome to Malaysia. As far as I am concern, there are lots of Arabian living in the area of Cyberjaya in Selangor which is located about 40 minutes from the main city of Kuala Lumpur.

Hope you enjoy your time here :)

Surely the whole point of going overseas is to make foreign friends?????

Well, I thought so and I dont have any expat friends myself. But I have yet to see a post asking for local friends so Id say the point is to go to a foreign country and seek out your own. I dont even want to go there. On another forum there was a lively debate about this topic and everyone pretty much ended it by hating each other.

I was looking for a market because I needed some ingredients for cooking but never found one.

As for those looking for arabic friends, i think there are many in Malaysia but i dont know what they do or where they live. Oh! I know, try the arab market!

Gravitas

It's Malaysia. The markets are either Chinese, Indian or Malay.
