Hi all,

My name is Roger van Gerwen and I'm the managing director of Eday Housing Service. Of course it's my goal to create as much business for our company as possible but at Eday we're convinced that a good start is to have a high level of service and integrity, something you will not always encounter in this market, we're fully aware of that. For this reason, feel free to ask me anything you'd like to know about tips, tricks and dangers in the Amsterdam housing market and me or one of our team will come back to you with the best answer possible. Not to reel you in, just a free piece of advice.

Hi Julien. Sorry for that, wasn't really trying to advertise. The reason for putting this information down is that I'm also one of the free of charge experts on another well known expat site where people can ask their questions regarding this topic. I'm not trying to advertise for our company as such, I just want to make the housing market in general more transparent and hope to protect people from scams. But I do understand your point.

in the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king! finding an apartment or even a jall cell sized room in amsterdam is no walk in the park. ill take any advice i can get.
