Moving to Bangkok

Post new topic

Silleck

Hi, I'm moving to Bangkok on the 12th. I won't have a job, but I intend to find one after I get there.
Few questions. If I don't have a job, and I'm intending to look for one, where is the best place to live when I first get out there, location wise, to look for a job?
I'm a certified teacher with over 6 years of experience.
What kind of salary could I expect to make?
Can you rent scooters?
I'm looking to spend about $300 a month for a decent apartment, is it possible?

Thanks,
Brandon

When I first arrive, what area do you recommend me staying in, to really look for a job. If I rent a scooter, does location really matter?

Welcome to the forum
It is not easy to work in Thailand if you are a foreigner.
What job are you looking for
What qualifications do you have
How much experience do you have.

You must have a skill that no Thai person has.

Go online and search for work yourself. Remember also visa requirements.
