Job for my husband?

I am possibly moving to Abu Dhabi this summer to teach. My husband will be coming with me and will be able to share some of the benefits in my package. However, he will need a job. He is American, has a B.A. in English, has several years of experience teaching chess to elementary school classes and private students, and will have one year of experience teaching English to high school students in Korea. He does not, however, have a teaching license.
What kind of job would he be able to secure? How difficult will it be for him to get a job? Is private tutoring popular and in demand in Abu Dhabi? He would be willing to work at any full-time position.

Thank you for your knowledge and advice!

Christine

Hi brittonna,

Welcome to Expat.com! :)

I wish you good luck in your search.

Teaching License is not a must, there are many here without it.  Your husband will find work, as there is a shortage of good teachers. No worries.

Great, that's really encouraging. Thank you!
