PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL GOALS:

My goal is to obtain a position as a lead elementary, middle, or high school teacher. I enjoy the challenges of teaching children the beginning stages of becoming literate members of society. Strengths which I can add to the classroom include a very positive and optimistic outlook for teaching and learning with student. Throughout my education experience at Michigan State University and student teaching experience this year, I have been exposed to and interacted with a diverse range of cultures. These experiences have substantially added to my strengths and understandings as a person. I am highly qualified in all areas of Mathematics and English. As an energetic and involved person, I have the ability to add to the athletic environment in school systems. I was raised and continue to exhibit my hard work ethic in my everyday life. I am attentive to constructive criticism and find it beneficial to my growth as a teacher and person. I am personable in nature and can develop relationships with students organically. I remain consistent in-regards to discipline and I hold high expectations from my students. As a leader and team member, I am always looking for ways to become a better educator.
