For a fresher this is not too bad.

Set aside about R.O. 30/- per month for your food cost. The rest (R.O. 285/-) is all yours for you to decide how you want to spend ... or save.

Salalah is a good 1,100 kms south of Muscat. When the summer is at its peak up north (hovering around the high 40s anad low 50s °C), Salalah will have what is known locally and regionally as the 'Khareef' season (at 15s and 20s °C), which is the monsoon season.

Tourists from all over the GCC and even the MENA region will flock to Salalah during the Khareef months of June - August, every year, to enjoy the cool climes, drizzle, mist and the rains.

Salalah is a very tourist centric town whose life revolves around the Khareef. Once the Khareef is over, the town will slip back to its former laid back self.

Go for it, if your present salary in India is lesser that what is being offered.

Right now,am work in chennai as site eng..in middle level company,as pay is 12000 rupees.without any benefitis...

How about the internet facility and its cost..salahah airport how along out of the city...bcoz am hered my work is nearer to airport...
