Job offer in Saudi

I've been offered a job in Saudi for 40 kSAR a month package. This is including of basic, housing and car allowance.

I assume the salary is average for the region. I want to save more than half of it. If I get about 30 kSAR a month can I save about 15 kSAR or more? Will this be possible while having a monthly spending account for groceries, shopping and entertainment etc, etc ?

yes it is handsome salary package, you can easily save more than 15K monthly

I will say yes you can save between 40-50% of your income on monthly bases, but total in total, you will save only for 9-10 months of the total 12 months of the year. Am saying this since living here will encourage you to travel in trips or to go back to your country for visits, so you will spend some money on that and not only shopping,grocery,rent..etc

What if on top of this salary you add education costs for kids...would this be still an handsome package?
What sort of accommodation would you consider?
Also, whats the cost of transportation in Saudi like?
