GPS Maps available to buy or download?

nedian15

HI everyone,

I'd appreciate if someone can tell me where to download NORWAY (Oslo etc) road maps for a GPS device?

Also, if someone can confirm whether a GPS from Australia will work in NOrway or not?

Look forward for some great responses.

Thanks in advance!

MK

Hello,

I would guess your device manufacturer would supply maps for Europe? Of course, you'll have to pay.

The GPS will work here. The manufacturers do sell maps of the various region, either for Europe or Scandinavia

Hello,

I assume you are talking abotu GPS for a car. Looking on www.elkjop.no, I see that a basic GPS (TomTom XL Classic) costs 799 NOK while a more expensive model (TomTom Cia 125E) costs 1495 NOK. They have models from TomTom, Garmin and Navigon.

I don't think you will find free maps, unless you are using Google maps.
