Group activities to do on a Friday

Been here in Jubail 2 months now and slowly going mad bit bordem! There are a few of us here in Jubail and come friday for our day off we find ourselfs with nothing to do! So is there any activites such as go-karting, quad biking etc?

Hi,

Welcome to Jubail... Nice time of the year to get here and get used to the place before the warm weather kicks in.
Quad biking is an option. The South Africans are the most active in that. If you have any South Africans where you work or live, just ask and I am sure he could put you in touch.

Other option is to drive out a bit (30 mins drive towards Kuwait on the highway) and you would see large batches of quads lined for rent by the hour. All these quads are of the Chinese variety so you won't see and Raptors or Banshees for rent. Also the max size you find is a 90cc or so.
Of course for this, would be better to go as a group.

You can go down to half moon bay and there are plenty of quad biking options. Engines go up to 450cc and per hour its quite reasonable!

Best option for entertainment is Bahrain though. There's go karting at the Bahrain F1 circuit.
