Hey everybody,
I will come to Valencia in April and gonna stay there for summer.
I am also meditterrenean which I grow up in İzmir. I am searching for summer activities any good beaches around Valencia that I can hang out and have fun.
Also, Is there any place that we can surf? I d like to surf there if possible

Dear Burak,

Welcome to Valencia,

There is some nice beaches but the nicer are outside the city. I like Javea, Denia and Altea Beaches.

If you want to stay in the city i recommend Patacona as Malvarosa is always full.

I know some people do wind surf in Pinedo, Saler, Marem blau and Benicassim.

thanks for the tip, I want to travel around. Are the beaches in Valencia good, I heard about Ibiza, what about that place!?

There is a very good city beach (Malvarrosa) just north of the dry river. If you want to get out of the city then you have a choice: the more 'commercialised' places are to the south, Gandia, Javea, Alicante, while the less popular (at least with foreign tourists) beaches are north, Moncofa, Burriana (windsurfing here), Benicassim. It really is up to you what you want. International, go south; if you want a Spanish experience, go north (but not too far, Benicassim is more like the places in the south).
Remember, there are big music festivals in Burriana and Benicassim (FIB) in the summer.
