Just checked into a hotel 'cause as usual I was unable to find a place. There is one room available and when I called the person yesterday to go and see the room, he said come today after maghrib.
Now after maghrib I called him 4 times but he didn't pickup the phone. Then later on I tried twice but he disconnected the call. Then after Isha he called and said I can see the room tomorrow after Asar and he was angry that I was making so many calls.
Then I called another number ad of which I saw on expatriates and the guy said place is not available.

I wrote about the guy above who asked me to come after Asar today. Today I asked him about it at around 2pm and he confirmed that I can come after Asar.
Well I went there at 4pm and guess what....he asked me to come after 5:15. WTH!!!
I sent him a message that this not fair and you know what?? he sent me a message saying "I am a family man. I need some rest. I dont know why ppl like u purposely want to trouble me."
WTF!!!!!!
So I replied that actually he is the one who is creating trouble for others. To hell with him.

He messaged me again just now saying "Ppl like u just come and see the house. But never take for rent."

haha so now this ******* can read people's mind. Great!

I hope you must be learning about the culture here fast These are norms here.

Saco World has a board with ads on them. Last time I went some people had flyers up saying that they were looking for room mates.

These are two areas.

Suleimaniya is some 5 kms away.

Al-aqeeq is about 25 km north.
