Everyone has to go through the hectic issues of daily life while at the same time ensuring a good life/work balance. It becomes more and more challenging than ever to juggle the demands of your job and the rest of your life without good techniques. I have found the below to be quite working and thought about sharing it:

1. Plan your time by building downtime into your schedule.
When you plan your week, make it a point to schedule time with your family and friends and activities that help you recharge.

2. Drop activities which drains a major chunk of your time.
Many people waste their time on activities or people that add no value -- for example, spending too much time at work with a colleague who is constantly venting and gossiping,"
You may even be able to leave work earlier if you make a conscious effort to limit the time you spend on the web and social media sites, making personal calls, or checking your bank balance.

3. Rethink your Tasks, jobs, responsbilities
Consider whether you can outsource any of your time-consuming household tasks.
Could you order your groceries through an arrangement with the grocery story and agree the price in advance and have them delivered? Have your dry cleaning picked up and dropped off at your home or office?
Ask friends to co share tasks that you enjoy or that you were planning to do anyway and come up with time share arrangements where you could offer your services one day and they do it on other days.

4. Exercise and watch out your health
It's hard to make time for exercise when you have a jam-packed schedule, but experts say that it may ultimately help you get more done by boosting your energy level and ability to concentrate.
Research showed that exercise can help you to be more alert and vice versa wont work.

5. Always keep in mind to relax quite often.
Don't get overwhelmed by assuming that you need to make big changes to bring more balance to your life. Though job responsibilities dictate long working hours during the day, getting early from work one day wont matter and would make a good difference and a significant change to your life style.

Absolutely excelent advice, I just want to add on the point of friends which we bond ourselves with seeking indirect validation that we do not even need, but you only realise that after all the life experiences you go through.Learn from it!

You are affected far more than you think by the people you sarround yourself with.Do your friends share your values? do the encourage you when you speak of your goals and dreams or do they scoff? you probably are not even conciously aware of that.Make sure that the people around you are conducive to the lifestyle you want to lead or you will find yourself being dragged again and again into behaviours that distances you away from your desires.Friends with the habit of producing negative thoughts will especially hinder you. This maybe a hard task to follow through with if you realise that your good friend is one of this saboteurs, but you must be firm! Dont let anyone get in the way of you being all that you can be
