Hi all

I'm moving out in April, will be arriving on 12th

Not sure where  I'll be living yet, I'm out next week to look around.

Looking forward to meeting some new friends and connections.

About me, I'm in my forties, self employed, coming out with 2 dogs from UK, so,I'll be driving down.

Open to any suggestions and tips on good places to live, shop, eat, hang out etc

Feel free to connect, I'd love to meet some people when I get out there , either next week or from April

Hi Julia,

welcome to the forum.

We have a very nice and active Expat group here in Sliema but I'm sure you will find Expat groups all over the island.

Check out the meeting up thread and just come along when you are around.

Cheers
Ricky

I also finally have a date for my move to Malta, and I will be arriving April 20th.
Will be working in Sliema, so going to try to find somewhere to live around there.
Also looking forward to meeting new poeple as I don't know anybody in Malta yet.

I am Norwegian woman, in my late 30s. I'm moving on my own, initially, but my lovely pet dog will follow once I am settled properly. :)

Hope to meet some of you people on here IRL... ;)

Would love to meet all of you!

MadameN I have dogs too, I found the central to north areas more dog friendly for accommodation when I was looking last week.

Ricky I didn't make the ex pat Meetup last week , it was my last evening and I was a bit tired and had too much else going on. Hope to catch up soon after I move though :) I did go past the venue on the bus, so know where to go!
