I heard that if you open a bank account you get a residence . I know they ask for the residence permit when you ask to open one .

the thing is i got a residence and i would like to know if i open an account before that my residence permit expire can i renew it after that .

Well no i am not married ,actually i got a 6 months touristic resident permit and it will expire by the end of march , and its say that you can get touristic resident permit once a year . So i have been looking for other way to renew it or get an other residence permit without getting married . but i think all i have to do it go to any bank and ask about it .

If you have ikamet tezkeresi you can open otherwise you cant.
I asked several banks. Besides you need to go to tax office (vergi dairesi) to get a tax number which is given in 10 minutes
