Hi,

I also have the problem. In order to get the "send" capacity back, one needs to introduce oneself and to take part in threads of the forums.
I hope we get it back soon.

Have a nice day everybody,;)

This is not very nice when they stop you from sending messages..
Then whats the use of this blog I wonder?

ruthannbasnillo

that's my problem here too. i need to copy and paste messages so as to minimize my time in typing same messages to different members here. Anyway, that's what the copy paste is for right? huhu :((

Copy & pasting the same thing to lots of people is generally regarded as being spam, hence the measures to stop it from being done...

Unsolicited copy and paste messages that are sent out to a number of different members are by their very definition SPAM. There is no valid reason whatsoever for sending out copy and paste messages here and it is for this very reason that if you send out more than 5 your mailboxes are locked out automatically by the Anti-Spam System. This is something that is explained in the local forum Code of Conduct, the site's Terms and Conditions and clearly expanded on and explained in a countless number of forum postings.

It's always the same thing... new members who never bother to read the rules coming here with the intention to send out hundreds of unsolicited private messages to everybody they possibly can and don't even know. "Hi your profile really interests me, maybe we could get together for a date?" OR "Hello, I need your help to come from my home country (the Democratic Republic of Central Middleofthejungleistan) to your wonderful country. Can you help me with a work visa?" OR "I am the daughter of the deposed President of the Democratic Republic of Central Middleofthejungleistan and I am trying to get my fortune out of the country, blah, blah, blah."

So, they come here and fill up everybody's mailboxes with pure unadulterated crap, get their message privileges locked out and then start posting to cry about it. Give me a break - this is getting very old, tired and boring folks.

We have rules, they are clearly spelled out for everybody. You are required to read, understand and abide by those rules as a part of joining the blog. If you don't do so and run into trouble because you haven't done so - WHO IS TO BLAME?

We have an Anti-Spam System that is for the protection of ALL of our members. It is NOT going away, it is NOT going to be changed. Deal with it.

To ACTIVATE your messaging privileges you MUST participate in the forums - that means post topics, reply to topics, introduce yourselves. The more you participate actively in the forums the larger your mailbox capacity becomes - so that's a benefit. Strange I've never seen anybody posting here to cry or whine "My mailbox is just too big - I think this is extremely unfair and irritating!", but I guess maybe one day.

To LOCK OUT and maybe even LOSE your message privileges just keep on doing what you're doing - continue to fill up as many mailboxes as you can with unsolicited CRAP, but do us all a big favor. Please stop coming back here and whining and crying that you got the boot. OK?

Ruth Ann,

What message could you possibly need to send to a large number of different members here (that you don't even know, by the way) that wouldn't be a violation of one of our rules, or some form of SPAM?

Could you please explain that one for me - because I've been around here for a very long time now and have heard almost every one in the books?

Cheers,
