Hi ,

Infact, not all Turkish speak english, but you can find many who speak english mainly younger people..

If you want to go to visit touristic places ,go to Sultanahmet, you can go by subway ..

For others places as restaurants , Taksim is the heart of city, you can find all types, restaurants , galleries, etc..
