I wonder if anyone could give me some advice on working and living in Malta.

I spent five months last year working in a hotel as a overseas resort rep and fell in love with the island.  I am planning to return in April to find work out of hospitality in a more sales/admin type role.

I am thinking about renting a one bed flat in a more central location so I could get around on the bus service somewhere like San Gwann, Qormi, or Msida. I would appreciate any comments from anyone on the suitability of these areas, in terms of being a more quiet, residential secure area for a woman to live in.

Does anyone know a good letting agent? I have tried to contact several via websites but received no response!

Also, what kind of jobs are open to someone who does not speak Maltese.  Any feedback would be most welcome.

Many thanks for your help.
