Gibraltaran social security number?

I'm just wondering if you need to apply for a social security number from the the Gibraltaran tax office before starting a job/after starting one or not at all?

I've seen no info so far on this, does anyone know?

Yes you will need a Gibraltar Social Security number in order to work here.
