American women's club in Oslo- worth joining?

I would recommend the ICON club, it is a very international club, and once you are a member, lots of activities are free. You can chose from Knitting, Mah-jong, Book Club, Painting, Sewing, and many more. The fees are very modest, I don't remember exactly how much it cost as I already paid mine last June for the whole year, but I think it is 400NOK

You can look up on their website on this link,http://icon-oslo.com. A lot of charity works also.
It is an easy going club, where new people are always welcomed.

this club does look very nice and friendly but it seems like most of the activities are in the daytime on weekdays! I have a full-time job so it looks like I wouldn't be able to participate in.. really anything from what I can see. Do you not have members with normal jobs?

I am sorry I didn't know you have a full time job,  then it would be a bit difficult for you to participate to the activities, I agree.

I think it is catered for wives/partners coming to Norway because of their husbands/partners' job. They usually don't work, so joining the Club is one among other ways for them to socialise and make friends.

Does American Club structured their activities differently? I wish you the best.
