I would like to know from anyone the best route in finding work in nz. As my research goes on and applying for positions online there, I am finding that you need to be there in order to sucure an interview...I do not fall under a skilled migrant category but have been in the sales industry for many years now. Would I still qualify for a visa if I secure a job offer there?

Have you checked out the NZ Govt immigration website. This will give you all the information as to whether you qualify for a visa and if so what type of visa.

I would suggest that as an expat arriving in NZ,you would not get a sales type job. It is definitely not a specialist skill and so that type of job would go to a local.
