Makati?

where? in Philippines?

well, you can just go to Malls, and check the electronic section there....

Glorietta Mall is the best.

maybe there are also cheap prices....just not sure.

If you're adventurous enough you can ride a cab and ask them to

take you to GREENBELT(san juan), cab price may range to 250-300

Pesos from makati depends on what part of makati you'll be

coming from, but yeah Glorietta malls are not that bad, its much

more safer and convenient for you considering you're a tourist :)

prices for electronics are cheaper in the u.s.a.   more expensive here. the malls will cost you even more coz they have a high rent there. but if you buy on some of the street stores, they sell electronics made in china. they will say its an original item, but buyer beware! if you buy a china made electronics, it will break within one month. it has happened to me before and there is no way to fix most items from china. best bet is to buy on ebay from usa and have them deliver it to you here. that's what I do now. good luck

there is also a Philippines based website lazada.com  that sells electronics (original)  that is cheaper than the malls and also have cash on delivery service for most items.
