Cafe in Makati

Post new topic

expatfever

Hey all,

I'm thinking about opening a Cafe shop in Makati. I would want it in a high traffic area where many business men would want to stop and get a first class cup of Joe. Any people out there have any contact information or figures regarding expenses, on opening something like that?

Monthly rent?
Utility charges?
24 hour security?
Employee wages?
Costs of taxes and licenses from PI government?

    Cheers guys

I would think the Fort would be better these days, as has a lot of call centers as well. But then there are a lot of coffee shops. Starbucks (multiple on same block), Blendz, UCC, Coffeebean, San Francisco, Bo's, Maxims, McDs list goes on and on. Coffee drinking is a big fad right now and lots of the younger professionals go for the brand. Not so much the taste.

Thanks Dhnindc,

I noticed how many coffee shops there were when I went to Thomas Murato. Do you have any idea how to get numbers for these businesses? Do I contact an accountant? I would love to get the monthly figures of a couple different kinds of businesses. Anyone know the best way to obtain these kinds of documents?

    Cheers
