Hi All,

I've been looking at early retirement in Panama or Ecuador for some time now.  I'm grateful for this forum and all the great input.  I look forward to scouring it for all the tidbits I can find before an extended visit there soon.  Being a retired nurse and having traveled a good bit in Latin America I have acquired a rudimentary grasp of Spanish.  I know that I need to study it in earnest if I want to enjoy a full and rich life there.  I'm hoping to make a fact finding visit soon....possibly as early as May.  Looking forward to getting to know many of you online.  Thanks.

Cheryl

There is Sooooo much to learn.

One step at a time (thats what I'm doing) and try not to get overwhelmed with the amount of info;)

Hi Cheryl,

Their are a lot of people retiring down here for sure.  I am happy to assist if you want any info about Quito or Ecuador.  I run a little online travel agency down here.  I am also happy to share what my life is like, even though I am not retired people seem to enjoy my perspective.  Send me a private message if you want my email.
