Anywhere to let a dog run in Gibraltar?

Hiya

I'm just back from a brief visit to Gibraltar as I'm considering a new job over there. One of the things I noticed was that although there were a few dogs around, they were all constantly on a lead and I couldn't find anywhere that dogs were allowed to have a run around.

We have a well behaved dog who loves to run and chase her ball, but I'm now fearful that if I move to Gib I'm condemning her to a life on a short lead with no space to exercise.

Can someone tell me if there is anywhere in Gib for dogs to get proper exercise?

Unfortunately thepetitionsite.com/1/gibraltar-needs-dogpark/ - it seems there aren't any places for dogs to exercise in Gibraltar. There are plans to chronicle.gi/headlines_details.php?id=26110 - create one or more dog parks but I wouldn't hold my breath.
