Wanting to work in UAE

Dear All
My husband and I are wanting to immigrate to UAE.  He has been applying constantly using all the regular sites, bayt.com, gulf talent , monster etc for about a month now with no success.  We have been talking to one recruitment agency directly , Hayes.ae too and still getting nowhere.  He has been going on to the sites refreshing his cv a few times a day too.  Can anybody please advise if we are completely wasting our time with searching for a job this way? Does anybody think our chances would be increased if he came out to Dubai or Abu Dhabi for a couple of weeks and walked in to companies? How easy is it to get a job out there if only visiting for a couple of weeks and could visas be arranged etc easily enough? My husband works within Information Technology industry?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated, good or bad, we just need to know .  Thanks all

Ykhan

Hi there,
If your hubby will be available here for in person interviews the chances of getting a job are more.
I suggest you keep an eye on LinkedIn apply to the open positions and talk to the recruiters before coming here. If nothing works then take the chances and visit UAE on tourist or visit visa for a month. Getting the visit visa is not a trouble at all.
I work in IT as well, as database administrator. What's your hubby's profile??
I may refer you for some positions here.. Feel free to mail me on khan.yusuf26@gmail.com

Good luck.

Cheers,
Yusuf.

Hi YKhan,

My story is similar to leroynicola. In order to broaden my experience and to explore better opportunity, I'm thinking of possible Software Project Management opportunity in any city of UAE.

In this regard, likewise the hubby of leroynicola, I tried via LinkedIn, NaukariGulf, Monster, Bayt, and few others but I'm hard to land one. I'm currently in Nepal and am still hopeful to get one.

Can you guys suggest me few potential way that can help me in better way not only to get one in UAE but also in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Do you think there is probability and will this work trying from Nepal. Do i need to consider any recruiter (We don't have any recruiter in Nepal who hires Software Professionals for Gulf). Please suggest any best. I'll send my CV to you in your above email address. I would appreciate your help on this and yes best of luck to leroynicola.

Thank in Advance.
