Alternative medicine in Saudi Arabia

Hi,

does anyone know whether there are alternative medicine practitioners in Saudi and the other Gulf states?

Like Chinese herbal shops, acupuncture clinics, Indian herbal shops etc?

Yes there are many different types of alternative medicine practiced here in Saudi.

There are some acupuncture clinics and Indian and Chinese herbal shops (not many, I know of one of each here in Jeddah). But the commonly used alternative medicine here are the treatments bought from Meddle Eastern and African Herbal shops (attar) and the Hijama ( wet Cupping and fire cupping) both are really big here .

google placemark !!! too much for my computer skills but its easy, there is one place for both in Mahmal Center in downtown (Balad) on the top floor
