Apartment hunting in Taipei

I will be moving to Taipei in July and I need to find a one bedroom apartment for myself. Can anyone give any suggestions of areas to live in that are affordable, safe, and clean? I understand the public transportation is very efficient, so I am willing to live outside of the city in order to find something more affordable.

I am looking for any type of advice and/or any good websites that I can use to apartment hunt. Thank you in advance!
