Just taking chances and hoping that someone can help me to find a job. I am 23 year old Filipino, finished Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies in one of prestigious University here in Philippines. I had my Internship at the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (as a Researcher). I used to work as a Passenger Service Agent for an International Airlines here in the Philippines. (Very rewarding experience working at the Airport but I need to leave my job for some reason).

I've been through a lot of job interviews but no luck in finding one. I reached to a point wherein I feel bad about myself, feeling small and lose hope but I realized that I shouldn't entertain that kind of thought, move on and strive hard!

Now If someone here owns a company or know a company where I can apply It would be a great help! And I'll truly appreciate it if you could help me.

I hope to hear from you guys soon!

Many thanks in advance!Have a great one!

Don't feel small! It happened to me at 25-26- unemployed a long time. If you are educated, it's only a matter of time before you find work and it's a numbers' game. Don't feel bad because millions of people are in between jobs.

I know how it feels though- I even had to call a suicide hotline once- this is how desperate it gets. But trust me, it will get better.

In the meantime, have you thought of teaching online?

Thanks for your response Tambok17!Appreciate it!

Yeah, Its just sometimes I cant help but feel that way. But passed on that stage already. I need to move on with life and get the determination back.

I never reach that stage (which i hope i won't) but sure that was really tough! I really hope it will get better soon!

Sent you a PM bro!

Again, Thanks!

Left your airport job for "some reason".  If that is how it reads on your resume'then you need to get more real about what did or did not happen.  Leaving a job for no reason is a deal killer here in the USA, and I cannot imagine it is well received there.  Best of luck in your quest.

Hi Patrick! It can be frustrating and depressing not having a job during rough and tough times. You've mentioned that you've been through a lot of job interviews but did not get lucky. You might want to assess yourself and the answers you're giving out to the interviewer. Have you ever asked yourself what could have gone wrong? Sometimes we are not aware that there are things that are crucial during the interview. The things we say, words we use, and how we say it really matters. You can also take down notes on the questions asked in any of your many interviews and take time to do a research on what you should say. Also take time to know the company and the type of work that you're applying for. You also need to be very specific when  it comes to answering the interview but be sure not to bad-mouth your former employer. Flowery words are not really needed. Remember that the interviewer not only looks at your experience but also your character. Again, you can be honest but be wise with the words you use and waht to say. Be direct to the point but do not sound arrogant. You also need to be confident but not proud and be yourself. You may try applying for a job that best suits your qualifications and experience. :) You may add me on FB, davemartin_mellowtouch@yahoo.com. Good luck on your job hunting! :)

I know how you feel patrick but always keep a smile on your face.
Overlook your failures and shortcomings. Instead, focus on your next prospect and analyze your current status and circumstances in order to prepare yourself for a better and brighter future. Whatever the circumstances may be, always remain steadfast and patient. Don't worry, every dog has his own day!

You'll get a job soon, trust me! :P
