Coming from the U.S. to Jeddah is the yellow fever vaccine needed or required for adults or young children (under 5)?
Thanks

I didn't get any, and don't know of anybody who did.

Dunno if MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) has anything in common with "Yellow Fever," but they did give me a shot of the MMR stuff so I cud enter KSA and save the souls herein!

Well, for me the Hep. B (or was it C? whatever) vaccine, too (two times, third due in five years).

vkrmbhtngr: MMR is not the same.

Hep B & A plus MMR are some of the standard vaccines my girls have gotten at their milestone checkups. Of course my littlest will be getting a whole lot of shots at her 1 year checkup as they try and get as many done as possible before we leave that are done at the 1 year 18 month marks of life.

Stressedmom, don't be stressed :)

I have only heard about Hepatitis type B, not that its vaccination is a must, but if you have it, and it is shown on your medical report, you can't enter the Kingdom. I don't know if having the vaccination is a must, but I think it is only recommended.
