I need some advise on is there any restriction on the estisalat or du telephone directory?
I have receive some of the mails from some company etc something like direct selling or multi level marketing.
I doubt they r using the directory , residential listing to get our info and then they send out their invitation regarding on their latest product or sales promotions by email or mail. Legal or illegal?
How to avoid them?
Can they get sue by the mail or email receiver ?
Anyone can provide some information , link ?

It not illegal because they have chosen the numbers randomly.

However, it is not courteous to call people whom we do not know and cause them inconvenience. Such calls are said SPAMS.

If you receive much spams from the same person many times a day you can report them to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority in Abu Dhabi.
