Help!!! Apartment prices

Hey Guys,
Both myself and my GF are moving to Guangzhou to teach English. Our school is in the Baiyun district of Guangzhou. We are looking for a rough guess as to what we would pay for rent in an apartment. We don't mind travelling 20 minutes or so everyday if its a bit cheaper to rent. Also, we're not looking for the Hilton, just a decent 1 bedroom apartment.

Advise would be appreciated.

I just checked out the price online. The rental for a one-bedroom apartment in Baiyun district is around RMB1500-2500 per month.

Hi,

My BF and I are working as English teachers in the Bayun area too (in a kindergarten near Jainxia metro station), so there is a chance we will even meet.

The prices for basic apartments in the surroundings range from 1000 to 3000 - a lot depends on factors such as the floor level and the private bathroom. A reasonable and fair price we can suggest you is around 1500-2000 yuan (utilities included).

Please note that the prices on the internet will be much much higher, but there are many local housing agencies providing an excellent service for viewing and selecting a flat.
