Hi

I am a telecom professional with Product management experience with India's leading telecom company. I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications and an MBA from one of India's leading B-Schools.
I am contemplating moving to NZ to work and probabably settle. I was pretty hopeful that with my experience and after doing some research on the telecom industry in NZ, I will be able to land a job without much difficulty. But after reading some of the posts here on this forum, I am worried and discouraged.

Is it really that tough to find a job in NZ?

Christine

Yes it is tough to find a job here in NZ.

You need to check the NZ government immigration website to see what type of visa you can apply for. There is a points system and you have to get a certain amount of points to qualify.

Cost of living is high here too. Check out this website for cost of living numbeo.com
