Hey guys,

I found this really nice modern flat in the new Balluta Terrace apartments block, just above Le Meridien Hotel in Balluta Bay. I was wondering if anybody knew anything about it? The block seems almost empty with only very few apartments where people actually live. Is there something wrong with these apartments? I also noticed there is a construction site just next to it with another similar block being finished but it seems that there is no construction work going on atm or it has stopped? Hope it's not noisy there.

Are you thinking of renting or buying?
The best way to find out about the flats is to go in the evening and ask residents who already live there. Also check out the area in the evening for noise and during the day for construction work.
Building work is a problem wherever you live in Malta, they will build on, in, over or under any thing they can and seem to drag the work on forever. Shell properties are everywhere and its not unusual to see blocks of flats with only a couple of tenants.
So do your homework before you rent or buy.

Thanks Terry. I am actually going to rent it. It seems that the works have just been finished and there are only few last touches remaining, that's why there are still not many people around. The apartments have double glazing so no sound from outside coming in. The apartments are really nicely done inside, though one has to be careful which apartment he or she chooses as there is one side of the block which goes kind of underground and looks at nothing but a high wall. The other side is overlooking a nice open area just off Balluta Bay.

Hi Maltamove,

I really like that building too, and was searching for a double bedroom flat to rent.

Do you know if there is another , or who could I contact to rent one?

Best regards,
Yanita

Hello Dan -> I suggest you to post an advert in the Housing in Malta section. :)

Thank you,

what a great way of advertising, people are getting very clever with their free adverts when all they need to do is post in the classifieds and tell people on here there is an advert
