Hi Zim jade and Welcome to the Forum 
Will be having our next get together some time in June, keep an eye on the forum for further update. However I cannot assure you whether you would be able to find the different "good" time you are looking for or not in our gatherings but you are always welcome to give it a try

, One girl who has a curfew is certainly not the fun loving girl you are looking for; it seems that you have been to the wrong place and got stuck with the wrong one but the forum won't help you either therefore you have got to try somewhere else

Man, let me cut the story short. Expat-Blog is not a dating website; its a website for expats to share their experiences about life in Oman.
I can understand that making friends is not that easy for guys, but for girls its even worse!
You can imagine how frustrating it is for girls to find nice people, avoiding any mis-understandable behavior or word, and also slalom among the drooling bachelors desperately seeking for a girlfriend. That's why I said above that what you are looking for is not available on the Forum and one of the main reasons for the inactive participation of the girls on the forum.
To be honest, it's also difficult for us guys to invite a girl we don't know for a cup of coffee. We do not want to look like those Tex Avery wolves with their eyes popping and drooling jaws so we stay on the safe side and meet ladies through common friends therefore I would suggest you to do so.
Socialize is the "KEY" word my friend. You have got to socialize!
Life is not simple and we make it even more complicated do we not ?
