How to obtain Jordanian Resident Status???

What is the process for becoming a resident of Jordan, if your spouse is Jordanian? Can this be done from the USA? And once your a resident can one be employed or own a business? Any experiences or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hey,

I can assure you the employment right and owning a business part of your question. I'm not quite sure about the residency though, I'd recommend you (or your Jordanian spouse preferably) to contact the Ministry of Internal affairs (وزارة الداخلية) since they are the responsible authority for your case. If you are married to a Jordanian residency can take Jordan and after two years to acquire a nationality
