Hi All,

I am considering a move to Fiji in the next few months but need a little advice before finalising things.

I am concerned that my partner will not be able to get a work permit from what I have read online, can anyone share their experience with this?

Is it necessary to have a car?

Any information with regards to relocating pets and possessions?

What about medical cover with emergency evacuation included?

Cost of living/fair expat salary range to sustain 2 people?

I have heaps of questions but ill leave it there for now.

Cheers

D

Hi  Dave_C,

Welcome to expat-blog!

For better views a new topic was created from your post on the Fiji forum.

I suggest you to read some topics on the Everyday life in Fiji forum, you might find out more information.

Thank you,

For cost of living www.numbeo.com

Medical insurance is a must so do an online search for that.

I know there is very little work there. May be best to contact the Fijian Govt via their website or an Embassy.

Relocation of possessions should not be a problem as everything is shipped across from Oz or NZ. Again an online search should come up with a company.
