I read somewhere that regarding nursing employment, you need to directly communicate with the POEA. They will give the details on where to take the training and the language course. Regarding language course here with a student visa, you can do that but as a requirement, you need a CONFIRMED slot in the school or university you would be attending the course. And as far as I know, Sprachkursvisum is only for a year and after that, you need to go back home. Regarding employment, with Sprachkursvisum, you cannot take on jobs, you can only study the language. To find employers, I am not 100% sure you can do that within a year for you to get a work contract, which in turn, you will need to get a work visa (which I am guessing is what you wanted to have).

but is it true dat wen ur on a student visa u can work part tym lyk 20hrs per week?dey already issued d guidelines but dey only need 500 nurses :(

cyrilanne

as far as I know, if you would be applying for university degree or masters program, then yes, you can work while studying, but for language course purposes, based on what my classmate from Mexico last time said, the visa for language course does not allow them to work. The number of nurses announced is the pioneer batch, it is what I heard here, but they will be needing more in the future. check DAAD website if you want to study here for more details.

tnx for that info, i have to clarify that part time thing for d languge visa..is there really a nursing shortage there or it was just pure exaggeration?

cyrilanne

There really is nursing shortage here. My husband says, blame it on the compensation, because other country can pay better for these nurses and doctors.

but for us filipino nurses this is already a very big opportunity..i just need to clarify things before engaging with d student visa..tnx a lot, u really enlightened me..god bless

cyrilanne

True! For us, Filipinos, it is still a big opportunity. Good luck and God bless!
