u cant do a tourist in Germany....is that very important in embassy u can show to them that u have own properties here?

Hi Mafe,

Not necessarily, what is important is, you have the necessary documents that can prove that you will come back and not opt into illegal staying in Germany. Regardless if you have properties here, but if your documents fail to prove that you will be coming back home, then they will still deny you. Also, they ask for properties or bank statements if you will finance your trip yourself and no sponsor, but if you do have sponsor, you just need to prove that you do not intend to overstay in Germany. Some documents to prove this is employment certificate indicating that you are only on leave, or school temporarily leaving certificate in case of students, or any document showing that you have a business in case you are not working with a company.
