Dear Friends,

I am going to move Sulaymaniya. Have you any special or general advice regarding my work over there?
How safe is it?
What is the living cost?
How is the daily life in Sulaymaniya?
Is it easy to communicate in English?
etc.
I am comletely newbie. My recenet visit in Iraq was almost 30 years ago.
Please write everthing which could be interesting or important.

Sulaymaniya is complete safe and nice place to live. Life is not that fast like big urban city but peaceful. if you are moving with family time is easy to spend being alone is bit tough beacause not many places to move around. I am also expat so share only what i now you can contact me privately if you need more support. Hope locals will guide you as well : ) Only residence is expansive rest is fine.

Hello Bako. I was in Sulaymanah last week. It's pretty safe. There is not as much things as you can do as in a big european city like Paris, but follow the locals - drink some tea, smoke, go to parks, picknick in the beatiful mountains...
