buy a flat for a years and not rent-it

my future wife told me to buy a flat for a years and not rent-it means if it cost fx $ 200 month its $ 2400 aayear.She said it normal i lima- but i have never hear that before.not rent for a years -not even in denmark.you cant do it in denmark-its im possible
have you here about this?

Hi,

A few years ago it was worth buying a flat because of booming construction but now it's too late. Prices are over inflated because many foreign investors are coming. In a good part of Surco, San Isidro, San Borja and Miraflores (residential areas) square meter costs 3000 dollars ! You should better rent a furnished flat.
