Hola a todos, me han ofrecido un trabajo en Bombay de traductor (inglés-español) financiero. Yo ya estuve en India un año, 2010-2011
Ayer realicé una entrevista telefónica y pregunté por el contrato y me dicen que no hay contrato, entonces pregunté por el visado que cómo lo iba a hacer. Me dicen que en India "contract" significa que tú estás obligado a trabajar para la empresa por un tiempo específico, pero sólo con la compañía que te contrata. Como no tienen contrato significa que te puedes ir cuando quieras e irte a otra compañía.
Si finalmente fuera seleccionada, ellos me darían una "Offer letter", como carta de empleo donde aparecería el día que se empieza, salario, etc. Con ella podría solicitar el visado. Ellos te asisten con las formalidades del visado. Parece que trabajan así con muchos nativos y no tienen problemas.
El "contract" que decimos es la "offer letter" o carta de empleo, y me dicen que todo es legal.
¿alguien sabe algo sobre este asunto? Si me podéis ayudar os lo agradecería mucho.

On Thursday I had a telephone interview for the contract and they told me that there is no contract, then asked by visa what I had to do. They say that in India "contract" means that you are forced to work for the company, only this company, for a specific, but only with the company hires you. Having no contract, then, means you can go whenever you want and go to another company both.
If he was finally selected, they would give me one "Offer letter" as employment letter where would appear the day I start working, salary, etc. With it I could ask for the visa. They will assist me with visa formalities. It seems that they work, normally, in this way, with native people and have no problems.
The "contract" we say is the "offer letter" or letter of employment, and tell me that everything is legal.
Does anyone knows anything about this?
