Housing in Bangkok

Post new topic

insomanic

Hi guys,

I'm slated to get transferred to work at Sathorn Square this coming August.

I've gotta find my own housing as my company is only giving me flights and work permit, plus an awesome pay package.

Anyone got any tips or pointers, please do let me know.

And yup, I'm true blue Singaporean ;)

Thank you in advance.

Hello insomanic.

A new thread has been created on the Bangkok forum for more visibility.

I would suggest you to post an advert in the Housing in Bangkok. It shall help.

Thanks

Karen :)

Suggest you located a service apartment you can rent on monthly basis.  Use your days off and any other free time to check out different areas.  Finding a place within walking distance of skytrain is best in my opinion.  Once you find area you like then look for apartments/condos in that area.

I live within walking distance to Sathorn square. The apartment above mine will be empty next month. It is 80 square meters and it rents for around 19-20 thounsand baht. if you are interested send me a message.

Hi  lala-land,

Please your advert in the Housing in Bangkok section, this might help. :)

As a working expat it shouldn't be hard to find something appropriate. You'll be working in the business area, not sure if you want to live there. I'd rent something for 1-2 weeks, then ask your colleagues, read ads etc and look around yourself. Any place near a Skytrain/ MRT station would be convenient. There are several thaiforums + classifieds, but as an employee I'd use my network first. Good luck, have fun!  Kha.
