Im looking at setting up a small business as I cant find anywork for English only speakers.

Does anyone know what I would need to make this happen, i dont want to say too much as what im planning is not yet anywhere in romania so it will be the first of a kind and people might jump in before me.

For a small business you'll probably want to set up a SRL, or, if it's very small (just you) then maybe a PFA (which has simpler accounting). Most of this is done at the ONRC but probably a few other places as well. All the fees come to about 100 Euro.

Setting up a company takes a couple of weeks and plenty of legwork between various government offices but there are also a few companies who, for a fee, will do all the setting up for you. Last I heard, they charge a couple of hundred euro for this. A law office will probably be able to do it for you too.

Here's a guide, but it's a couple of years old, so some prices might have changed (or even the procedure):

Hi Jason,

Yes, it should take you to ProTV. They ran a handy article about the process and documents for setting up a SRL (a limited company).

Trying running the article through Google Translate. Sorry mate, thought you knew Romanian.

Hi !

An I.I.  (INDIVIDUAL ENTERPRISE) should be perfect.
I had one like this, I went to a company that sets up all the papers for you and payed only 100 euro. They will help you make the things with maximum eficiency and no risks of skiping any important paper.
With II  kind of enterprise is easier with the papers and also the taxes are lower. You can have employes too.
  Mine was a clothes store.
I am available for any other info .

Cheers!

Don't you think a micro-company is a better option?
