Hi nanda295,

Muscat's medical services leave a lot to be desired. Most doctors in town are inefficient and incapable of diagnosing even the simplest of ailments.

I, personally, have a very low opinion of doctors in Muscat.

With just 2 years of experience, you are as good as new.

If you even care the slightest for your 'noble profession', I would advice you to think twice before accepting the offer.

The rest is up to you.

Good luck !

I will not comment but i agree 100% with Mr. Sumitran.

Hello Mr Sumitran,

I've following this Expat.com from last 1month.I've checking your responses and I guess which is of great help to everyone. But still got couple of questions and I think you'll be the best person to answer them since you're the experienced Serial expat.

I've given an interview for a well know paint company in Oman.I've cleared the interview .The company said they have applied for the visa and once they will get the clearance ,then they'll process further by giving me the Offer letter and then details.

My question.
1.How much time it takes for clearance when company is applying for the visa .
2. Once Company gets the clearance on Visa how much time it may take further for processing of the paperwork.
3.Sorry for the same question which others have already asked you many times, but still out of curiosity ,they have offered be 650 OMR(No accommodation) but salary includes( HRA +Petrol+Mobile Bill)I'm a single person how much will be able to save. How much will the expense.

I'll looking forward from.

Thanks,
JM

Hi jobinmathew20,

Find below responses against your queries.

1.How much time it takes for clearance when company is applying for the visa . – It depends on whether the company has the required ‘labour clearance’. If yes, then not more than a working week. If ‘No’ it is anybody’s guess. I have addressed this concern in detail elsewhere in this forum. Locate it and read to understand how this works.

2. Once Company gets the clearance on Visa how much time it may take further for processing of the paperwork. – A week maximum.

3.Sorry for the same question which others have already asked you many times, but still out of curiosity ,they have offered be 650 OMR(No accommodation) but salary includes( HRA +Petrol+Mobile Bill)I'm a single person how much will be able to save. How much will the expense. – Accommodation can be shared, or 1 BHK. Costs would vary depending on the location, etc. You should be able to save at least about 50% of your income. All other details of expenses have been discussed at great length in the forum. It is up to you to read them to get the information.

Good luck.
