Places to visit in Hue

Hi Julie,

Hue is quite small city. but there're many nice places to see.
You can visit the highlight of the city: Hue Imperial Citadel (Forbidden Citadel), Thien Mu Pagoda, and some Royal Tombs of the Nguyen's Dynasty: Tu Duc Mausoleum, Minh Mang and Khai Dinh Tomb.
Suggest: Rent a bike riding yourself visit them with a city map.

Beside that Hue countryside is also wonderful places to see: Thanh Toan Village, Sinh Village, Chuon Village, Tam giang Lagoon...

If you have friend travel to Hue for a week on holiday. I recommend as below:
1. Hue citadel and royal tombs with Thien Mu Pagoda
2. Hue countryside with handicrfat village: Sinh Village, Thanh Tien Village (paper flower), Thanh Toan Village, Tam Giang lagoon, An Bang Cemetery village
3. DMZ tour: Khe Sanh Combat base, Vinh Moc Tunnles...
4. Bach Ma National Park overnight in the forest for 2 days 1 night
5. Hue driver to A Luoi Town with colorful minority people.
6. Beach relax & enjoy seafood...

I think of Eco places like Bach Ma National Park + Elephant Spring (Suoi Voi), Truoi Lake with Truc Lam Temple are other interesting places to visit

Places above can be visited by motorbikes or by car

+ Royal Tombs ( Tu Duc - Minh Mang - Khai Dinh )

+ dont miss taking aboat trip on perfule river.

& some  must-try foods in Local languages as follows: 
+ Bún Bò Huế - Cơm Hến - Nem Lụi - Bèo Nậm Lọc - Bánh Khoái...etc..
you can chose to visit Hue by motobike, car, bicycle of joining in group tours for cheaper prices.
