Hello Expats
Is there anyway that we can set up the account while living still in the US? We are planning to come in October and stay until May. We would like to set up the account prior to coming to Belize. I also would like to know if anyone is using the credit unions. If not, please say why. Since we won't currently be making our final move just yet, we would like to know if one type is preferred over the other until we become residents. Mark could qualify for QRP ..... which is best? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

We are looking to have access to our direct deposits from our current checking accounts in the states to one in Belize. It doesn't matter if it is an American bank or not. We just want to be able to access our money and establish credit while in Belize for our visit and our eventual relocation. We are planning to use Corozal as our base and visiting San Pedro. So whatever bank or credit union is in those locations would be helpful. Thanks
