Hello Everyone,

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between US Bank Account and Paypal account?

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you.

Julien

Paypal is not a bank ...

A US bank account is a bank account in the United States.  A Paypal account is an account with Paypal.

Paypal is not a bank, but they act like one.  They charge fees for everything and have terrible customer service.

So true about the customer service!

Terrible customer services???? Any particular reason or do you have any bad experience with them? Kindly share with us...

There are a lot of people online who have some bad stories. If you want some entertaining reading about problems people have with the service, you can go to http://www.paypalsucks.com

Just be aware that that site has serious pop-up issues.

PayPal is not regulated by the FDIC, therefor it is not a regulated financial institution - a.k.a bank.

However, while I personally do not like PayPal, others do. There are people that have horrible experiences with PayPal and people that have excellent experiences. Since they are not regulated, when an individual commits fraud, PayPal is liable - this liability is passed on to the customer with documents, frozen accounts, increased fees, etc. They have very strict risk management policies.

Form your own opinion of PayPal before you completely give up on them. PayPal however, is primarily used for online transaction through eBay and other websites.

Well I can make it very easy for you.

WITHOUT a bank account you will have a difficult time using [/b]PayPal.

PayPal will give you a limited account if you do not link a bank account, unless you qualify for a PayPal credit card - chances are you do not if you do not have a bank account.

Truthfully, if you are living in the United States or plan to it would be considered strange not to have one. (a bank account)
