Hello I will be coming to the Philippines in 2 months. My family and I will live in the Lucena City area. Just wondering if there are any U.S. citizens living there.

Hello Mike DAnn.

Welcome to Expat.com :)

You may have a look at the American expatriates in Manila Network.

Hope you'll get new acquaintances from there :)

Thanks.

Karen :)

Anyone in Lucena area?

Hi Mike, why us your whole family moving there?  Are you being transferred there for work ? If so, what business are you in?

Thanks and good luck.

Hello BC1
No I am coming by myself. I have a lady friend who lives there.
My friend who moved there from Michigan lives in Dumaguete. He recommended that over Lucerne City. The people there seem to be very nice. Really don't know what area is going to ne the best for me. However I have leaned that some off the young ladies don't want you to go to any other areas out of fear of you not coming back to them. Many are very possessive when it comes to having an American man. Its like we are a trophy or something.  Maybe the one I care for is to unsecure. Won't know until I get there.
Amy input on my response? Perhaps maybe some other area.
Thanks
Mike

Ahhh ok, I thought you had work there. It's next to impossible for an American to find work there, that's why I ask.

Baguio can get chilly, it's an unusual spot to relocate to.

Thanks.
