Hi David lee1,
After the election of 2012 which gave victory to his Excellency President John Dramani Mahama candidate representing the NDC party as a President of republic of Ghana,The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party NPP,Nana Akufo Addo, has decided to appeal to the supreme court because of some irregularities observed during the vote. The president of the electoral commission, the judiciary, counsel for the two parties, and other comissions spent about a month and half to check the pin sheet and decided to cancel some electoral positions.
The verdict will be announced on Thursday, August 29, 2013.
That is why the government decided to take the measure of security by strengthening police forces in all the cities in order to avoid disturbances or other event trouble.Ghana is a country of law and stability, it's this stability and peace which the country forward in the margin of development.Ghana is a model and an example for other countries and for future generations that freedom and justice will reign in peace and hoping stability.Everything will be fine by the grace of God,because we are one people, one nation.
Thank you...
Cheers!
